Nostradamus and Baba Vanga, two renowned prophets born 470 years apart, are famous for their extraordinary ability to foresee the future. Both spent their lives predicting significant events, leaving behind a legacy of prophetic writings that continue to captivate people today.

Nostradamus, a 16th-century French seer, is best known for his collection of 94 poetic verses, written before his death in 1566, which allegedly predict future events. One of his most famous prophecies was the prediction of the death of his close friend, King Henry II. Nostradamus wrote that the king would be “overcome by a young lion,” with his eyes pierced through a “golden cage.” Just weeks later, King Henry II died after a joust injury, when a lance shattered and struck his eye and skull.
Nostradamus’ predictions didn’t stop there. He is also said to have foretold the rise of Adolf Hitler in the 1930s, the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the 9/11 attacks, and the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Similarly, Bulgarian-born Baba Vanga gained recognition for her predictions, including accurate forecasts of extreme weather events in 2022 and the assassination of India’s Prime Minister Indira Gandhi before her death in 1996. Like Nostradamus, Baba Vanga’s prophesies extended far into the future, including some predictions for 2025.

Interestingly, historians have recently found that both mystics predicted nearly identical events for the year 2025. According to Baba Vanga, a devastating war will ravage much of Europe, and Russia will not only survive but rise to dominate the world. She also foretold that this war would trigger global earthquakes, some of which would impact the U.S. west coast.
Nostradamus also predicted that Europe would face cruel wars in 2025, with internal and external enemies causing widespread conflict. He even prophesied that Britain would be left in ruins after the war, followed by a deadly plague. In his work Les Prophéties, Nostradamus wrote, “A great pestilence from the past returns, no enemy more deadly under the skies.”
With these chilling predictions in mind, it seems 2025 could be a year of significant turmoil, particularly for the UK.

As for Baba Vanga’s predictions for 2024, she is said to have foreseen a number of remarkable events, including the contact with extraterrestrial life during a major sporting event, advancements in synthetic organs, and even the potential for telepathy to become a reality. Additionally, she reportedly predicted a new energy source would be discovered, and that Sir Lewis Hamilton would win his eighth Formula One world championship.
While some of Baba Vanga’s predictions have already come true, only time will tell how many of her 2024 and 2025 prophecies will unfold. As we approach 2025, it’s clear that both Nostradamus and Baba Vanga’s legacies continue to spark fascination and speculation about what the future may hold.
